Eleven drivers embarrassed themselves during qualifying. Having violated the pit exit rules, they were disqualified. As a result, the best qualifying time went to O.Driver, who had often shone with excellent results before, and here he earned his very first pole in the Pro Cup series.
Many of those with an eye on victory in this race had to start deep in the pack, which was not exactly safe considering the presence up ahead of drivers capable of making mistakes out of nowhere.
The race:
The biggest “big one” of the race came right at the start. It was triggered by the #95, who “lost” the rear of his car on acceleration and slammed into the wall. In total, eight cars were caught up in the pileup: #95, #89, #72, #46, #74, #64, #98, #69. Two of them, #95 and #64, were forced out of the race.
From lap 12 everything settled into place. #33 A. Schokin and #88 Beavis took turns leading the race.
The showdown in their rivalry came on lap 88 (Beavis's lucky number), when the #33 suffered a disconnect. By the time he managed to return to the track, Beavis was already 5 laps ahead of him.
On lap 95 the race leader at that moment, #89 Isaenko, retired — the engine on his car let go. From then on #88 Beavis led the race all the way to the finish, giving up the top spot only during cautions. #3 KAN tried to challenge him, but only really managed it on the first lap after the pace car left the track.
Rejoining the race after the disconnect in 11th position, five laps behind the leader, #33 A. Schokin nevertheless refused to give up, and thanks to his persistence he eventually got back onto the lead lap and climbed to third place.
He might well have achieved even more that day, but the closing part of the race ran under green flags and, despite the chase he mounted, he could not climb higher than third, try as he might.

After the race.
#01 Oliver Driver – 4th place.
For the last 65 laps or so my antivirus started a scan because the race had dragged on, and a magnifying glass and other tinsel kept flashing in the middle of the screen. At times the frame rate slowed down so much I thought it was all over. In short, I did not try to fight for 3rd place — I just cruised to the finish.
#25 D. Borisoff – 5th place.
Tik, about the idiot part — you are completely right. I entered the corner at a sharp angle, at high speed. The car pushed up toward the wall and I knocked you out of the way. Sorry.
As for your later attempts (do not even deny it, they happened) to punish me for my blunder — let's chalk that up to your hot temper.
Toward the end of the race I caused trouble for two more cars. I caught a spin on corner entry and ended up right in their path. Pab was definitely one of them. For that I apologize as well.
#46 Pab – 6th place.
Fun race. On the first caution I fly into the wall, the car will not pull on the straight, no more than 190, but since I was drunk out of my mind I did not quit (Anti, forgive me, I could not resist the temptation — the fiends got me drinking over some ridiculous footy match).
With the first long run it turned out I had been an optimist about 55% grille tape; I barely held on until the caution, and after that I simply drove not-fast.
I enjoyed the battle with #01, one of those “if you are so cool and fast — pass me on the outside” duels.
My goal for the race — no penalty points — accomplished. HELLO, DOVER.
Still, OverDriver and Borisoff blew me away — nerves of steel....
And congratulations on the win to the most noble Dude (I do not think he knew I was 6 laps down, but he let me by anyway)!!!
#74 Tik – 15th place.
The constant crashes ruined the car's balance. Speed dropped badly too. The car was loose all the time, even on the straights; I kept making adjustments in the pits, and only toward the end of the race did the looseness go away — but they wrecked me anyway.

Во время квалификации оконфузились 11 гонщиков. Нарушив правила выезда из боксов они были дисквалифицированы. В результате, лучшее время в квалификации показал O.Driver, который не редко блистал отличными результатами и ранее, а здесь и во все заработал первый для себя поул в серии Pro Cup.
Многим из тех кто претендовал на победу в этой гонке пришлось стартовать из глубины пелатона, что было не очень безопасно учитывая присутствие впереди гонщиков способных ошибаться на ровном месте.
Гонка:
Во время старта, произошёл самый большой «бигван» гонки. Его организатором стал #95, который «потеряв» задок машины на разгоне ударился о забор. В общей сложности в завале участвовали восемь машин: #95, #89, #72, #46, #74, #64, #98, #69. Две из них: #95 и #64 были вынуждены покинуть гонку.
С 12-го круга всё встало на свои места. Лидерами гонки попеременно становились #33 A. Schokin и #88 Beavis.
Развязка их соперничества наступила на 88-м круге (счастливое число Бивиса), когда с #33-м произошел дисконт. Вернуться на трек ему удалось, когда Beavis опережал его уже на 5-ть кругов.
На 95-м круге сходит на тот момент лидер гонки #89 Isaenko, на его машине выходит из строя мотор. С этого момента #88 Beavis возглавлял гонку вплоть до самого финиша, отдавая первую позицию только во время ЖФ. С ним пытался соперничать #3 KAN, но удавалась ему это, разве, что на первом круге после ухода с трека пейскара.
Вернувшись в гонку после "дисконта" на 11-й позиции, в пяти кругах позади лидера, #33 A. Schokin, тем не менее не сдался, и благодаря своему упорству со временем вернулся в круг с лидером вышел на третье место.
Возможно, ему бы удалось сделать, и больше в этот день, но заключительная часть гонки проходила под зелёными флагами и, не смотря на предпринятую им погоню, он выше третьей позиции подняться не смог, как не старался.

После гонки.
#01 Oliver Driver – 4 место.
Последние кругов 65-ть антивирус начал проверку из-за того, что гонка затянулась и на экране постоянно в центре экрана мелькала лупа и пр. мишура. Временами частота кадров замедлялась настолько, что думал всё. Короче не пытался бороться за 3-е место, а просто доезжал.
#25 D. Borisoff – 5 место.
Тик, насчёт придурка, ты полностью прав. Я вошел в поворот под острым углом, на высокой скорости. Машину понесло наружу и, я тебя выбил. Извини.
Что касается твоих попыток в дальнейшем (даже не отрицай, они были) наказать меня за косяк. Спишем это на твой вспыльчивый характер.
Ближе к концу гонки стал виновником не приятностей ещё у двух машин. Словил спин на входе в поворот и оказался у них на пути. Паб среди них был точно. За это - то же прошу прощения.
#46 Pab – 6 место.
Веселая гонка, на первом коушене влетаю в стену, машина не едет на прямой, больше 190, но т.к был пьяный в гуано, не вышел (Анти прости, не смог удержаться от соблазна, напоили злыдни, под бредовый ногомяч ).
С первым лонграном обнаруживается, что я оптимист, относительно гриля 55%, еле дождался ЖФ, ну а дальше просто не быстро ехал.
Понравилась борьба с #01 из серии, если ты крут и быстр - обгони по внешке.
Задачу на гонку - не получить шб, выполнил - ЗДРАВСТВУЙ ДОВЕР.
Тем не менее, потрясли ОверДрайвер и Борисов - железные нервы....
Ну, а благороднейшего Дуда (не думаю, что он знал, что я отстаю на 6-ть кругов, но все равно пропустил) с победой!!!
#74 Tik – 15 место.
Из-за постоянных аварии, баланс машины был испорчен. Скорость так же сильно упала. Машину постоянно лузило, даже на прямых, постоянно приходилось регулировать на питах, только к концу гонки луз прекратился, но всё равно убили.

В Атланте произошёл редчайший случай для INL WRI. Заезды на питстоп осуществлялись, в том числе и под Зелёным флагом.
