After a long break, two-time race winner Sergey Komisarchik returned to the Pro series. He marked his comeback with the second-best qualifying time. He was not the only one who decided to drop in for Round 15, though. Chicagoland was also visited by some infrequent Pro Cup guests: Alex Arzamasov, Butt-head, Anikey Skovorodkin and Eugeny Dmitriev, who, having failed to complete his scoring qualifying laps, had to start from the last and, as tradition holds, unlucky position.

Series leader A.Schokin, citing «hardware» problems, did not take part in the race. KAN 42, probably by pure coincidence, also declined to race.
Chicago was where the fate of sixth place was to be decided. Alexandr Chistov and Pab were fighting for the ticket into the Chase.
Going into the race the contenders had completely different motivation. While Chistov treated this chance with indifference:
«I'm tired of Nascar and I don't want to race in it.»
Pab craved the first Chase of his career and was set on getting there at any cost.
«Only two things cheer me up — the mile-and-a-halves are what's left (the only track format where I can genuinely run fast), and the fact that I've got nothing left to lose. I'll have to go flat out, a la LICH style, with 80-90% grille tape. Apologies in advance if I accidentally clip anyone at Vegas or Chicago.»
Before the race Chistov led Pab by 20 points. But given his rival's attitude toward INL racing, Pab had excellent chances of making the Chase. All he had to do was wait for the now-customary retirement of his opponent, who has no desire to run the full distance, and also steer clear of penalties.
The race.
Pab had the main part of his task solved after just 6 laps. #23 Chistov got loose, slapped the wall and, unwilling to keep torturing himself with races that had grown tiresome to him, quit the event.
#23 Alexandr Chistov:
«I had thoughts of running the whole race, but things went wrong on the second restart, and after going off I damaged the car. My desire to finish was zero, so I quit. Even if I had made the Chase, nothing would have happened. I'm tired of Nascar and I don't want to race in it. Pab, on the other hand, takes part, fights. With him, the Chase will be more interesting for you.»
Lap 13.
Running in 5th place, #64 Sergey Komisarchik finds himself behind Tik, who has brushed up against the fence. Trying to avoid a collision with the slowing car, #64 brakes, then spins and ends up on the inside of the track. After sliding for some time across the infield parallel to the racing surface, he reappears on the track, where he is hit by #5 RacerX, who was completely unprepared for such a turn of events and had no time to react.
Showering sparks, #64 carried on racing for a while on his roof, while #5 rolled down onto the apron in clouds of steam and smoke. For both of them the race ended right there.
There could have been a third victim in this crash, but #95 was incredibly lucky at that moment to shoot the gap between the two colliding cars.

On the restart #36 and #24 get past #57. Arzamasov tried to counterattack and reclaim at least second place, but nothing came of it, and on lap 23 he also let #113 through — who immediately finds an opening to pass #24 and moves into second place.
Lap 31.
The engine blows on the #57 car. Slowing down, Arzamasov hugs the barrier tight. #25, running right behind him and with no time to swerve, has no choice but to run into the crippled car. #74 Tik moves up to fourth place. Caution.
During the caution everyone comes down pit lane. #46 Pab stays out on track for the sake of the bonus points.
Running order after lap 34: #46, #113, #36, #74, #24, #95, #61, #25, #01
After the restart #113 Anti heads the race.
Between laps 39 and 46, #24 and #25 both get «loose».
Lap 50.
#36 Eugeny Dmitriev takes over the lead. Only #24 and #113 are able to run at his pace.
Lap 58.
The engine blows on the #24 car. #113 is forced to lift his foot off the accelerator. Dmitriev gets the chance to pull away from Anti.
Lap 60.
#95 hits the fence and retires.
Lap 62.
#74 Tik brushes the barrier coming out of T4 and then, after a shove in the rear bumper from #25, ends up on the inside of the track. Six laps later (tires worn down and car damaged), he opts for a pit stop under «green».
Lap 93.
After 43 laps on the run, #113 is in the pits.
Lap 98.
#36 pits. #46 Pab becomes the leader.
Pab, Driver and Borisoff stretch their pit stops out to the very last. After all, if a caution comes out, they can hope to finish the race in the top-3.
Lap 109.
The hopes for a caution never came true. #46 comes down pit lane. #36 Eugeny Dmitriev reclaims the lead. After the pit stops #01 Driver comes out ahead of Pab. #25 Borisoff, who stayed out on track longest of all, ends up behind Tik.

После длительного перерыва в серию Pro вернулся победитель двух этапов Sergey Komisarchik. Своё возвращение, он отметил вторым квалификационным результатом. Впрочем, он стал не единственным, кто принял решение побывать на 15-м этапе. Посетить Chicagoland, так же, решили не частые гости Pro Cup: Alex Arzamasov, Butt-head, Anikey Skovorodkin и Eugeny Dmitriev, который не пройдя зачётные квалификационные круги должен был стартовать с последней и, как принято считать, не счастливой позиции.

Лидер серии A.Schokin сославшись на проблемы с «железом» в гонке участие не принимал. KAN 42, вероятно по чистому совпадению, так же отказался от участие в гонке.
В Chicago должна было решиться судьба шестого места. За путёвку в Чейз боролись Alexandr Chistov и Pab.
Перед гонкой претенденты имели совершенно различную мотивацию. Если Chistov относился к этому шансу с безразличием:
«Я устал от Наскара и не хочу в нём ездить».
То, Pab, свой первый в карьере Чейз, жаждал и стремился туда попасть во чтобы то ни стало.
«Радуют только два момента - остались полуторомильники (единственный формат трасс, где я действительно могу ездить быстро) и то, что мне уже нечего терять. Придется ехать на ВХ, в стиле а-ля Лич с 80-90% грилем. Заранее извиняюсь, если кого ненароком задену в Вегасе и Чикаго».
Перед гонкой Chistov опережал Паба на 20 очков. Но, учитывая его отношения к гонкам INL у Паба, были отличные шансы на попадание в Чейз. Ему лишь следовало дождаться уже привычного схода соперника, который не имеет желания проезжать всю дистанцию, а так же, избежать нарушений.
Гонка.
Основную часть стоящей перед ним задачи Паб решил уже после 6-ти кругов. #23 Chistov уйдя в луз приложился о стену и не не желая мучится с наскучившими ему гонками покинул заезд.
#23 Alexandr Chistov:
«Были мысли проехать всю гонку, но на втором рестарте не заладилось, и после вылета, я повредил машину. Желания доезжать было нулевым, и я вышел. Даже если бы я попал в Чейз, нечего бы не произошло. Я устал от Наскара и не хочу в нём ездить. А, Паб, участвует, борется. С ним, вам будет интереснее в Чейзе.»
13 круг.
Находясь на 5-м месте, #64 Sergey Komisarchik оказывается за притершимся к забору Тиком. Пытаясь избежать столкновения, с замедлившейся машиной, #64 тормозит, после чего, уйдя в занос, оказывается внутри трассы. Некоторое время, скользя по инфилду параллельно полотну трека, он вновь оказывается на трассе, где в него врезается #5 RacerX, который был совершенно не готов к такому повороту событий и время на реакцию не имел.
Высекая искры, #64 ещё некоторое время продолжал гонку на крыше, а #5 в облаках пара и дыма скатился на апрон. Для них обоих гонка на этом закончилась.
В этой аварии мог быть и третий пострадавший, но #95-му в тот момент, невероятно повезло проскочить между двумя столкнувшимися машинами.

На рестарте #36 и #24 обходит #57. Аrzamasov пытался контратаковать и вернуть себе хотя бы второе место, но из этого нечего не вышло, и на 23 круге, он пропустил ещё и #113, который, тут же находит возможность, чтобы обогнать #24 и выходит на второе место.
31 круг.
На машине #57 взрывается мотор. Замедляясь, Arzamasov прижимается вплотную к отбойнику. Шедший вплотную за ним #25 не успев отвернуть, вынужден упереться в потерявшую ход машину. #74 Tik, выходит на четвёртое место. ЖФ.
Во время коушена, все заезжают на питлейн. #46 Pab ради бонусных очков остаётся на трассе.
Положение в гонке после 34 круга: #46, #113, #36, #74, #24, #95, #61, #25, #01
После рестарта гонку возглавляет #113 Anti.
В промежутке между 39 и 46 кругами «лузятся»: #24 и #25.
50 круг.
Лидером заезда становится #36 Eugeny Dmitriev. В одном с ним темпе могут двигаться только: #24 и #113.
58 круг.
На машине #24 взрывается мотор. #113 вынужден поднять ногу с педали акселератора. Dmitriev получает возможность уйти в отрыв от Anti.
60 круг.
#95 бьётся о забор и сходит.
62 круг.
#74 Tik задевает отбойник на выходе из Т4,а за тем, получив толчок в задний бампер от #25-го, оказывается внутри трека. Через 6-ть кругов (стерев покрышки и повредив машину), он решится на заезд в боксы под «грином».
93 круг.
После 43-х пройдённых кругов #113 в боксах.
98 круг.
#36 в боксах. Лидером становится #46 Pab.
Pab, Driver, Borisoff оттягивают свои пит-стопы до последнего. Ведь в случае появления ЖФ они могут надеяться завершить гонку в top-3.
109 круг.
Надежды на появления ЖФ себя не оправдали. #46 заезжает на питлейн. #36 Eugeny Dmitriev возвращает себе лидерство. После питстопов #01 Driver оказывается впереди Паба. Продержавшийся дольше всех на треке #25 Borisoff оказывается позади Тика.
