Throughout all three pre-race sessions, A.Schokin had no equal. His advantage looked overwhelming, and his qualifying result was humiliating for all his rivals and surely plunged them into gloom.
The race itself ran under the dictation of that same Schokin, and all his rivals could do was pray for someone to spin and bring out the saving pace car.
Then again, at Pocono the Pro series leader was better than his rivals in every respect, so the restarts stayed his as well. And whenever he got clear road ahead of him, nobody could keep up with him, no matter how hard they tried.

My sympathies to LICH — he was bored, while Kan and I were flat out in the closing laps. I do not get it, Kan — how could it even enter your head that I wanted to take you out… for the sake of second place? Silly. I simply misjudged your line, though it worked out fine. You must have re-geared the box for the final corner — you would always pull away on the exit. I should have used 3rd gear; on the next-to-last lap I nearly caught you there.
#25 D. Borisoff – 5th place.
Today I was beyond competition. I simply had no equals.... Because they either did not take part or took themselves out of the running.
#95 A. madlopt – 6th place.
Three cautions — that is just too much, I quit. Once I shifted down into 2nd instead of 3rd, then two mistakes in the final corner. It is hard going on this track in weather like this. Thanks to Pab for the setup.
#46 Pab – 9th place.
The engine died out of nowhere, apparently taking my Chase chances to the grave with it.
Two rounds remain until the Chase, and I am 62 points adrift. Only two things cheer me up — what is left are the mile-and-a-halfs (the only track format where I can genuinely run fast), and the fact that I have nothing left to lose.
I will have to run on VH, à la LICH style, with 80-90% grille tape. My apologies in advance if I accidentally clip anyone at Vegas or Chicago.
#72 S. Lulukov – 10th place.
Well, that was my stupidest crash ever — I did not even make it to the first corner. I am reading F2; Anti seems to be behind me, and it is him in the mirror too. I move over to the right — crash! I started turning around and got a DQ. The replay showed that, besides Anti, Madlopt was also running out there — I had not seen him either in the mirror or on F2, and he is the one I hit.

На протяжении всех трёх предгоночных сессий A.Schokin-у не было равных. Его преимущество выглядело подавляющим, а результат квалификации стал унизительным для всех его соперников и наверняка поверг их в уныние.
Сама гонка проходила под диктовку того же Schokin-a, и его соперникам оставалось молиться на тех, кто спинился вызывая спасительный пейскар.
Впрочем, в Pocono лидер серии Pro был лучше своих соперников во всех отношениях, так что рестарты, так же оставались за ним. Когда же, он получал перед собой свободную дорогу, то ни кто не мог за ним поспеть, как ни старался.

Сочувствую Личу, ему было скучно, а мы с Каном на последних кругах гнали. Не пойму, Кан, как тебе в голову могло прийти, что я тебя хотел выбить… ради второго места, глупо. Я просто не рассчитал твою траекторию, хоть обошлось. Ты, наверное, перестроил коробку под последний поворот, на выходе всегда отрывался. Надо было мне 3-ю передачу использовать, на предпоследнем круге тебя практически догнал там.
#25 D. Borisoff – 5 место.
Сегодня я был в не конкуренции. Мне просто не было равных.... Потому что они или не участвовали или самоустранились.
#95 A. madlopt – 6 место.
Три коушена - цэ занадто, вышел. Один раз спустился на 2-ю вместо 3-й, потом две ошибки в последнем повороте. Тяжело ехать на этой трассе при такой погоде. Спасибо Пабу за сет.
#46 Pab – 9 место.
Двигатель умер на ровном месте, видимо прихватив в могилу с собой мои шансы на Чейз.
До Чейза осталось 2 этапа и 62 очка отставания. Радуют только два момента - остались полуторомильники (единственный формат трасс, где я действительно могу ездить быстро) и то, что мне уже нечего терять.
Придется ехать на ВХ, в стиле а-ля LICH с 80-90% грилем. Заранее извиняюсь, если кого ненароком задену в Вегасе и Чикаго.

Да уж, самая моя глупая авария, даже до первого поворота не доехал. Читаю F2, за мной вроде Анти, в зеркале он же. Перестраиваюсь вправо - крэш! Начал разворачиваться получил DQ. Повтор показал, что там оказывается кроме Анти ехал Мадлопт, которого я не видел ни в зеркале ни на F2, в него и въехал.
