After the start, qualifying winner #64 Sergey Komisarchik let #33 Schokin and #74 Tik through.

On lap 6, #64 found himself in the wall entirely on his own initiative. On lap 10, after the restart, he was in the fence once again, after which he immediately decided to retire, realizing that the car's aerodynamics were ruined beyond repair.

Lap 15.

#89 loses it in the corner and drags #3 and #74 along with him. After numerous collisions with rivals' cars and the walls, #89 retires.

Lap 21.

#3 KAN is forced to leave the race due to damage he sustained in the crash six laps earlier.

#36 Eugeny Dmitriev disconnects

Lap 62.

Holding a comfortable advantage over second-placed Anti, which by this point amounted to around 10 seconds, #33 Alexander Schokin retires.

RacerX, who had briefly moved up to third, heads for the pits, but the appearance of the caution (#33's retirement) means that after returning to the track he is a lap down to #113 and #25, who had stayed out.

From then on, Anti, Borisoff and Tik remained on the lead lap. But all three were circulating at different speeds, so it never came to a real fight. The only hotbed of instability was the rivalry between Pab and RacerX, which did not pass without a collision.

#113 S.Anti – 1st place

I didn't have time to test a setup, so I ran the stock VH. Really I should have at least tweaked the gearbox — the rev light was coming on in the middle of the straight; I thought the engine would burn up, but the water temperature was normal. Because of that I couldn't really pass anyone in the draft — at best I'd close in through the corner.

#25 D.Borisoff – 2nd place

I started the race with the grille tape at 60, on a completely stock setup. As the race went on, pitting several times, I kept reducing the value, so I finished with the grille at 45.

In the race itself I had problems on the starts. Once, while leading the field on a restart, I very nearly hit the wall, but after that I began accelerating more smoothly — with the result that the more responsive cars kept passing me.

What stuck in my memory most was the battle with RacerX.

For many laps I ran behind him, studying his driving style. I deliberately chose not to pass him, because I understood that if we happened to be fighting at the end of the race, I had better know his weak points.

And so, one behind the other, we ran for quite a long time, but in the end — probably having worn out his tires — he left me no choice, and I passed him.

At the end of the race, thanks to the good manners of the leader (and by that point it was already Anti), Tik got his lap back. Before the final restart, I sent Tik a private message so he would remember that I was faster (his car was damaged). Nevertheless, Tik thought otherwise — but after the restart he couldn't hold me off for long, and I moved into second place without any trouble.

#46 Pab – 6th place

What a woodpecker I am: first I botched it in the pits, then the fast RacerX neatly rearranged my rear end... oh well, as comrade Lomonosov used to say: if ye had no luck someplace in a race — ye'll have luck in the next one...

#33 A.Schokin (LICH) – 7th place

Everything was going «ok», but a couple of laps before my pit stop I got hit with a «random» engine failure and had to park it. At least I had grabbed the maximum bonus points.

I never once revved the engine up to the light, not even in the draft. It just happens sometimes.

#89 D.Isaenko (Holden) – 10th place

Before the start of the season, Sinner said he would like to finish far more often than he had managed in the previous Pro Cup. And yet his efforts in practice and his excellent starting positions bring no success. Another strong showing in qualifying — and another race failure much like the previous ones.
