The Founding of Team X3

It all began with the WR Skoda Cup championship on the worldracing.info portal. The team's founders are considered to be Dmitry Isaenko and Svyatoslav Ivasenko; a little later they were joined by Andrey Shirshov and everyone else.

How the name x3 Racing came about.

Once the driver lineup had been settled, the discussion began over what to actually call the team. There simply were no candidate names — nobody could come up with anything. And then one day, over ICQ, a conversation took place between Dmitry Isaenko and Slavik Ivasenko:

S: so what are we going to call the team after all?
D: hz, who knows
S: Hmm… well, we could actually name it «hz» (in Russian: «хз»)
D: true enough
S: then let's call it exactly that!!
S: so it'll be x3 — you know, triple power, all that stuff.

After that conversation, the question of the name never came up again. The team exists under this name to this day.

At present, the only one taking part in INL WRI races on a regular basis is RacerX, who this season has already secured himself a spot in the Pro Cup Chase. At the start of the 2009-2010 regular season the team counted on «making» Igor Menshikov the best rookie of the Pro series, and surely counted on taking a number of victories with the help of Sinner (Sergey Komisarchik) — and perhaps even winning championships. At the moment, however, X3 is far from its original goals and most likely can no longer be considered a powerful, single-minded band of like-minded racers.
